A little book review on this wee sweetie

by Angel Adoree
It was an impulse buy at our local poppies book store, but was $40 with 25% off.....$30, so not too bad I thought!
It is filled to the brim with fab recipes, interesting wee tips and inspirational pics.
Hope you week is going well?

Black boy

I picked the first fruit on our black boy peach tree yesterday. It was the first fruit tree we planted here and I have been checking daily on our 10 peaches......( I was amazed that even got that many considering we planted the tree last winter)
They are super juicy, super sweet and super special!

Now for a heads up on a very very cool givaway, tottle off to Stella's blog and be in the draw to win one of her beautiful alphabet prints on your very own tote bag...whipeeeee

Fabric score of the year.....

I hit the jackpot yesterday in our local arts recycling center. Some amazing person has had a serious organizational spree since I visited last as the fabric room is now categorized. I tripped and fell into the retro bin big time!
I also fell in love with two bags of vintage ribbon, one with old velvet ribbon would you believe! Oh how I love vintage ribbon.....

As for this little beauty, well?........

Shop update

The soap pot has been busy over the past couple of weeks. I have a few newbies to introduce to my FELT store including the new 'fusion au pamplemousse' aptly named by the fabulous Nin from 'the wardrobe' blog.
I've also popped a baby collection in there too, it includes my baby bottom balm which I've made for years now, fantastic as a nappy rash preventer, but can also be used for skin conditions such as eczema as well, containing Lavender Angustifolia, Manuka & German chamomile.
Hope the week has been nice for you all and that there has been a glimpse of summer in there somewhere!

Scrap Bag Goodies

I was lucky enough to be one of the recipients in Nin's scrap bag swap.
My lovely lady swapper was Annie B from Annie B handmade.
Snail mail pressies & fabric are two of my favourite things, when they are combined & wrapped in vintage wall paper....well I'm speechless!
Thanks so much Annie! I'm off to do a wee bit of crafting on my newly serviced retro singer that has been hibernating in the attic.
